LEATHER MYTHICAL CREATURES

Inspired by mythical creatures from prehistoric Chinese book Shan Hai Ching, these bold earrings are created with Shadow Puppet techniques (made from untanned cow's leather, hand painted with special colors).

Traditional art as it is, the designer modernized it into fashion items, she hopes to revive tradition culture by giving it fresh look and attitude. The natural leather has a beautiful texture, and it is known as "a tale of light and shadow" because of its translucency.
